During monsoon RBM got collected in the river coerse which leads to flooding of the river. By extracting this RBM from the river bed, flooding can be prevented. It is to be mention here that the working plane of Dehradun forest division also prescribed removal of RBM from river bed as part of Silvicultural activity under chapter VII para 7.21.              (iv).
