1. Legal status of the forest land shall remain unchanged. 2. The area to be diverted shall be demarcated in ground by RCC Pillars at the cost of user agency. 3. The lease period will be for 10 years with effect from the date of the issue of final order. 4. Reclamation of mining lease area and soil conservation measures will be done as per approved plan at the project cost under supervision of Forest Department. 5. The forest land shall not be used for any purposed other than that specified in the proposal. 6. The user agency will stick to environmental safeguards. 7. Any other conditions that the State Government may impose from time to time for the protection and the improvement of the flora and fauna in the forest area. 8. Balance forest land of 125.00 Ha. not approved shall be taken over immediately by Forest Department.
The above mentioned conditions were stipulated in MoEF Letter No. 8-46/1996-FC, New Delhi Dated 26.04.1999. These conditions were complied by the erstwhile lessee. The compliances to these conditions cannot be provided by the current lessee i.e. M/s. JSW Steel Ltd.
