The project involved minimum tree felling and no significant adverse impact on the existing eco-system is anticipated. The proposed area is the barest minimum and for public utility. Therefore, considering the importance of the project in developing a reliable and uninterrupted power supply in the region for overall development of the district, the project is recommended for consideration. Hence, the proposal is recommended for clearance under section 2 of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980.
