DharmapuriDharmapuriDFO RecommendedThe proposed road connects Malayurkadu, Moolakkadu villages with Barigam, Konayankadu villages. Currently the people of Barigam and Konayankadu villages are facing difficult situation to travel around the Reserved Forest for about 40km distance via. Jarugu, Arakkasanahalli, Chinnampalli and Perumbalai villages to reach Malayurkadu village. The proposed road cut short that distance between Barigam and Malayurkadu villages to just 3km. This is the long lasting demand by the village peoples. This demand has also been raised in the Legislative Assembly. Considering the above facts and field observations, I recommend this proposal for seeking diversion of land.
DharmapuriCF RecommendedThere is no alternative route for this project and therefore the diversion of forest area is unavoidable. The proposed formation of road from Barigam Konayankadu to Malayurkadu in Dharmapuri District is imperatively required considering the long term demand by the village people and demand raised in the Legislative Assembly. Yes
