Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion :
Alakudi RF is near to Kollidam River formed of lot of deposition of alluvium. It is a area of continuous deposition. Hence there is no possibility of soil erosion in large scale.

I have attched my inspection report of Alakudi proposed road part II , documents along with and site inspection images

I have inspected the Alakudi village situated on the banks of the river Kollidam on 6.1.2020 and found that it is not having any connectivity to the main road. The people of Alakudi and adjoining villages are put to unnecessary hardships for meeting their daily requirements. The school students have to walk 2 kms to reach their school. The elected representatives have also requested the District Collector to provide road to the village. Since it is a genuine requirement, it can be permitted within the guidelines of Forest Conservation Act 1980.
