(i).

Gavialis gangeticus, 8 species of turtles including critically endangered Bhatagur kachuga, crocodiles, Indian skimmers, Panther, Hyena, Jackal etc
(ii).

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
Under the scheme excess water during the rainy season will be lifted from the Chambal river near Kaliteer and the water will be channelizes via underground/pedestrian pipe line to fill the existing reservoir Ram Sagar and Parvati Dam. The project, if implemented with mitigation measures, is not likely to cause any adverse impact on the wild life and its habitat.
(iii).
Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ):
