It is observed by site inspection and thorough study of the project that the proposed Alternate Gravity Water Supply Scheme inside Tawi Wildlife Sanctuary covers only 4.3 Ha of area extent in the low lying stretches of the sanctuary towards the western perimeter. The existence of any rare and endangered species in the area is not known and the area is covered by sparse vegetation. The project, on successful completion is likely to generate sufficient water supply to the project covered habitations villages and townships in its spread. The project is therefore recommended for approval.
