5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : NIL
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : The prposed site is adjacent to the area already diverted for NH544 and does not have much threat of erosion. However, bit no. 3 is having vulnerability to erosion(site inspection)
7. Approximate distance of the proposed site for diversion from boundary of forest(in km.) : 0
8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : The proposed land by the Project Director (NHAI – PIU Palakkad), National Highways Authority of India is in four bits and is included in the jurisdictional limits of Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary. The Bits 1, 2 and 3 does not have any ecological importance as they are practically devoid of any natural tree vegetation. Bit 1 and 3 are parts of area leased out for rubber cultivation during 1917 to Vaniampara Rubber Company Ltd and the entire area is having rubber trees. Bit 2 also is a piece of land without any natural vegetation. Bit 4 is having natural vegetation of deciduous nature, however lies adjacent to the already diverted area. All the four bits are lying close to the already diverted area for NH 544 as per order No. 4-KLC844/2011-BAN/1669 dated. 07-05-2012 of MoEF. The cutting side of the bit No 3 should invariably be protected by proper engineering structures to prevent further land slips. The required area proposed is the bare minimum and would not cause much impact on the Forest eco-system due to reasons cited above. The area also does not include National Park, Elephant Corridor, Tiger Reserve or Biosphere Reserve area. Thus the impact of the project is bare minimum.
(iii). Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ): Yes
Details of Protected Area and comments on the impact of Project on the ESZ : The area proposed for diversxion is adjacent to the alkready diverted area for NH 544. Since the project does not involve any new operations different from that of what is going on, it is nopt going to make much impact on ESZ
(iv). Whether any national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve, tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc., is located within 1 Km. from boundary of the forest land proposed for diversion : No
