Forest area mainly composed of river and river banks, hence vulnerability to erosion is high. The construction of weir across the river may reduce the chances of erosion.

(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
The area proposed for diversion is a wildlife habitat, there presence of wild elephants, wild boar, Bonnet macaque etc. are noted. but implementation of the project will not affect the free movement of wild elephants as project area is located along the boundary of forest.

In connection with implementation of project 31 trees and 6 clumps of reeds are to be felled. To compensate the ecological loss 310 trees and 60 clumps of reeds to be planted. The Planting and maintenance cost for 5 years should be met by user agency. NB Instead of writing 6 clumps in species list one is wrongly written under 0 30 girth category. This may be taken as 6 Nos of clumps.
