Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
The compartment included in the working circle generally have conifer stand with preponderance of Kail alongwith other principal conifer species of Deodar and Fir. There is small representative of Chir in Comptt. 18/K where the land is to be diverted. The main objective of management is to recoupe the depleted and open forest by intensive plantation operations and also to enable exclusion of all form of biotic interference.

Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion :
The area proposed for diversion is rocky and not that much vulnerable to soil erosion.

Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
Leopard or Panther (Panthera pardus), Jungle Cat (Felis chaus), small Indian Mangos (Herpestes auropunctatus) etc. do exists in the area, but the land diversion for construction of transmission line may not effect their survival.

Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. :

Due to a major landslide in Drabshalla area Bomshroo top near 83rd Kms of NH 244 tower No 44 of the 400 KV single circuit Dulhasti Transmission line has become unstable and may collapse at any time. As such in order to avoid any untoward incident and to ensure uninterrupted power supply from the Generating system the present proposed line is recommended to be accepted.
