5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The Compartment 1/M & 3/D are assigned to Fir Selection Working Circle. This working circle comprise of Compartments that are adequately stopped with Fir crop admixed with Spruce. The Co. 2b/D is assigned to Conservation working circle. The main objective of this circle is to act as a repository of Biodiversity which serves as a safe refuge for Flora and Fauna. The Comptts. 2b/M, 1/D, 4/D, 5/D, 6/D & 7/D are assigned to mixed conifer selection working circle. The forests to this working circle are located on comparitively steeper slopes, as a result they play a key role in the soil and moisture conservation.
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : The area is precious and during the Rock cutting some forest erosion is likely to occur as such the User Agency has assured to construct retaining walls,
