Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
The Compartment 1/M & 3/D are assigned to Fir Selection Working Circle. This working circle comprise of Compartments that are adequately stopped with Fir crop admixed with Spruce. The Co. 2b/D is assigned to Conservation working circle. The main objective of this circle is to act as a repository of Biodiversity which serves as a safe refuge for Flora and Fauna. The Comptts. 2b/M, 1/D, 4/D, 5/D, 6/D & 7/D are assigned to mixed conifer selection working circle. The forests to this working circle are located on comparitively steeper slopes, as a result they play a key role in the soil and moisture conservation.

The area is precious and during the Rock cutting some forest erosion is likely to occur as such the User Agency has assured to construct retaining walls,

The said Road alignment is only possible alignment to connect the 40,000 population of Marwah & Warwan valley to District H.Q Kishtwar. Because in winter season Margan Top remains covered with Heavy snow. Moreover due to construction of this route, migration of local people from Marwah & Warwan Valley should be in favour of upliftment of this remote area. Moreover due to construction of this road accessibility in far flung Kishtwar High altitude would be possible
