Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The forest land proposed for diversion falls under the Rehabilitation cum Reboisement Working Circle as per the existing Working Plan of the division wherein effective protection from biotic/abiotic interference and ANR is prescribed.

5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The Comptt. through which the alignment of said expressway is passing is kept in eco-restoration zone as per the Management Plan of the sanctuary. Following activities are proposed as per Management Plan in this comptt. 1. Consolidation and maintenance of boundaries. 2. Regulation of cattle grazing. 3. Fire management activities. 4. Habitat improvement activities. 5. Catchment area treatment. 6. Protection etc.
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : Since the project involves only the extension of existing National Highway, therefore proper soil stabilization measures are required to be undertaken by the User Agency.
7. Approximate distance of the proposed site for diversion from boundary of forest(in km.) : 0
8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Since the proposed road project is passing through Ramnagar WLS, the prominent wildlife of the sanctuary is Leopard, Barking Deer, Wild boar, Jackal, Fox, Neelgai, Rabbits, Jungle Cat etc. Area also hosts number of reptile, amphibian & bird species.
 (ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : Yes
  Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : Since the project road is passing through eastern boundary of Ramnagar WLS and involves the extension / widening of existing National Highway as such there will be minimum impact on the wildlife of the area. However proper passages for the wildlife of the area for safe crossing is required to be designed by User Agency while executing the project. plan
