proposal number FP/UP/Water/155091/2022 has been received by this office from Mr.Avneesh Singh,Secretary DWSM/ Executive Engineer, Construction Unit, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Donda Ghat, Lalitpur for diversion under FCA 1980 of 8.161809 Hectares of Forest land for non forestry purpose. The Subject envisages the use of forest land for Laying of Drinking Water Distribution Pipeline total km 96.30 under Jakhlaun Birdha, Dhoora Balabehat, Kadesra Kalan and Mau Group of Village Water Supply Scheme, District Lalitpur U.P. The sites inspection of the land involved in the proposal has been done by me alongwith Mr. Avneesh Singh, Secretary DWSM/ Executive Engineer, Construction Unit, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Donda Ghat, Lalitpur and persons deputed by him on his behalf, from dated 14 11 2022 to 21.11.2022 On inspection of the sites, it is found that land required by the user agency is approx. 8.161809 hectares Protected Forest 2.024059 hectares and Reserved forest 6.137750 hectares The availability of drinking water is a major issue in Lalitpur district. Thus, the proposal is recommended for aceptance only because it is a laying of drinking water pipeline project which is in larger public interest
