Vijay Sagar bird sanctuary is situated near Bijanagar village having area 262.20 ha. and was notified as bird sanctuary by G.O. no 13-v5/14-3-24/0868, dated 26.06.1990. The proposed land for diversion is situated at a distance of 9.41 k.m. from the boundary of vijay sagar bird sanctuary. Although it is situated within the ESZ of the same but this project will have no adverse impact over ESZ or wild life present in vijay sagar bird sanctuary because Retail outlets are non pollution industry.
