The area proposed for diversion for construction of motor road falls within 1 km. radius of Rajaji National Park. This motor road started from km 2.00 chainage 1.250 of Doiwala main district road-13 to Chandmari-Missarwala-Lachiwala bridge and connect NH-72. This motor road is important for locals in view of various aspects specially during Kanwar Pilgrimage, due to which big crowded areas and market. But as the area comes under the ESZ of RTR, thus Wildlife clearance have to be obtained by UA
