Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
The area proposed for diversion falling in following compartments are part of sal working circle-Sainkot-1B, Sainkot-2B, Sainkot-2A, Sainkot-3 & Bibiwala-2 Whereas the area proposed for diversion falling in following compartments are part of Miscellaneous Species Working Circle -Sainkot-9, Bhaniyawala-2B, Bibiwala-1A, Bibiwala-1B, Bibiwala-2, Rishikesh-3 & Bidhalna-1

The concerned area being flat there are least chances of erosion.

Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
Reptiles (Snakes), Birds, Insects, Leopard,Deer species,wild boar, Rabbits, Monkeys etc. (Wild life conservation plan has been submitted in additional information)
(ii).
Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. :
Yes
Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
The area proposed for diversion is part of Shivalik Elephant Reserve. As far as impact of ESZ of Rajaji National Park or Shivalik Elephant Reserve is concerned the user agency has submitted Chief Wildlife Warden letter no-455/12-1 dated 11.08.2021 according to which the project will not have any adverse effect on wildlife.
(iii).
Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ):

Details of Protected Area and comments on the impact of Project on the ESZ :
Rajaji National Park lies at a distance of 1.20 Kms. Since the eco sensitive zone of rajaji national park is not yet notified hence the area falls under eco sensitive zone of rajaji national park. As far as impact of ESZ is concerned the user agency has submitted Chief Wildlife Warden letter no-455/12-1 dated 11.08.2021 according to which the project will not have any adverse effect on wildlife.
