Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
The area proposed for diversion falling in following compartments are part of sal working circle-Arcadia-1, Arcadia-3, Laldhang-1B, Laldhang-2A, Chandrbani-1, Chandrbani-2, Chandrbani-3 Whereas the area proposed for diversion in Mohobewala-1 compartment is part of Miscellaneous Species Working Circle as per the working plan.

Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion :
The concerned area being flat there are least chances of erosion.

Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
Reptiles (Snakes), Birds, Insects, Leopard,Deer species,wild boar, Rabbits, Monkeys etc. (Wild life conservation plan has been submitted in additional information)

Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. :

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
The area proposed for diversion is part of Shivalik Elephant Reserve. As far as impact of ESZ of Rajaji National Park or Shivalik Elephant Reserve is concerned the user agency has submitted Chief Wildlife Warden letter no-455/12-1 dated 11.08.2021 according to which the project will not have any adverse effect on wildlife.

Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ):

Details of Protected Area and comments on the impact of Project on the ESZ :
Rajaji National Park lies at a distance of 1.20 Kms. Since the eco sensitive zone of rajaji national park is not yet notified hence the area falls under eco sensitive zone of rajaji national park. As far as impact of ESZ is concerned the user agency has submitted Chief Wildlife Warden letter no-455/12-1 dated 11.08.2021 according to which the project will not have any adverse effect on wildlife.

A total of 41.00 hectares has been proposed for compensatory afforestation in the villages of Gadaita, Thaina, and Latau under the jurisdiction of the Kalsi Soil Conservation Division. The Compensatory Afforestation (CA) scheme, map, suitability certificate, DSS report, and CA allotment letter issued by the District Magistrate, Dehradun, are attached herewith.
