The proposal is hereby recommended as the project is designed to connect Thiruverambur to Grand Anaicut Kallanai Dam . Adjacent village people will be benefitted as this is the shortest route to sell their agricultural goods from Thanjavur district to Tiruchirappalli district. Moreover this road connects the Tiruchirappalli – Chennai Grand Southern Trunk road from Thogur village of Thanjavur district which also fulfills Hospital needs and Educational needs of Thogur village people. Since it is a genuine requirement, it can be permitted within the guidelines of Forest Conservation Act 1980.
