The proposed site for Formation of Road 820m x 10.00m 8200sqmt 0.82ha in R.S.No. 365,366,367 & 384 at Thogur village inside Nagavally Reserved Forest of Thanjavur Range in Thanjavur Division was inspected on 04.02.2022. The proposal is hereby recommended as the project is designed to connect Thiruverambur to Grand Anaicut Kallanai Dam . Adjacent village people will be benefitted as this is the shortest route to sell their agricultural goods from Thanjavur district to Tiruchirappalli district. Moreover this road connects the Tiruchirappalli – Chennai Grand Southern Trunk road from Thogur village of Thanjavur district which also fulfills Hospital needs and Educational needs of Thogur village people. Since it is a genuine requirement, it can be permitted within the guidelines of Forest Conservation Act 1980.
