The proposed area for 0.042 ha in Noganur RF is located at a distance of 6.30 km away from Cauvery North Wildlife Sanctuary. The area for 0.27 ha in Panai RF is a part of Cauvery North Wildlife Sanctuary. The project involves laying of OFC by digging shallow pit to depth of 2 ft. the activity is one time works which would not have any impact on the forest or wildlife

The proposed activity involves laying of OFC through underground without having to alter the landscape or hinder the movement of wild animals across the road or the alignment of the pipeline. Hence, I recommend this proposal for seeking diversion of land.

This project does not involve any felling of trees. The project required for improving communication networking 4G facility. The whole project of laying of OFC is pollution free project. In as much as the trench is restore to original position / land scape the question of damages or otherwise by the wild animal does not arise. Under the circumstances, I recommend this proposal seeking diversion of forest land 0.312 Ha for laying of underground Optical Fibre Cable along Anchetty to Denkanikoattai route in Krishnagiri District in the proposed area of the Noganur RF and Panai RF in Hosur Division subject to condition that the user agency has to get prior permission of the National Board for Wildlife under Wildlife Protection Act 1972
