The proposed area for diversion is linear i.e. for formation of Road and laying B.T. The area proposed for diversion is of undulating and hilly terrain and vulnerable to erosion.

The major fauna in the said area are Panthera pardus (Panther), Melursus ursines (Sloth Bear), Hysterix indica (Porcupine), Lepus nigricollis (Hare), Axis axis (Spotted Deer), Sus scropha (Wild Boar),

The diversion of Forest land is proposed development of road connecting Maddimalla Village to Gundaram Village, which shortens the distance. Old cart track is existing and now it is proposed widening and laying B.T. The area proposed for diversion is noticed minimum. The Karimnagar District is also included as one of the LWE Districts.
