Rainfall in the region is low. The area is has plain topography with almost zero gradient. So, the area is less vulnerable for soil erosion given the edaphic and climatic factors.

The The proposal seeks working permission for widening of the road hence it is likely to have adverse impact on the wildlife habitat. Number of trees fall within the proposed width for road widening, so if trees are uprooted it will destroy the habitat of arboreal animals and birds.
