Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
This area proposed for diversion comes under road working circle of the Patiala Forest Division. The silvicultural system prescribed is selection-cum-improvement felling where is trees above prescribed girth will be marked for felling. Apart from above, trees which are dead, dry or diseased or those posing threat to property & life will also be taken up for felling as per working plan prescriptions as and when situation arises. As per Working plan prescription, the area under consideration is due for felling and planting during the year 2031-32.

The area proposed for diversion is not vulnerable for erosion due to more or less flat terrain.
