(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
The surrounding area of the project comprise of good wildlife habitat with faunal composition that includes Manis crassicaudata (Pangolin), Melursus ursinus (Sloth bear), Felis bengalensis (Leopard cat), Pathera pardus (Leopard), Mellivora capensis (Ratel/Honey Badger), Elephas maximus (Elephant), Felis chaus affinus (Jungle cat), Canis aures (Jackal), Semnopithecus entellus (Monkey/Langur), Herpestesedwardsi (Grey Mangoose), Viverricula indica (Small India cerivet) etc.
