8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : The surrounding area of the project comprise of good wildlife habitat with faunal composition include Manis crassicaudata (Pangolin), Melursus ursinus (Sloth bear), Felis bengalensis (Leopard cat), Pathera pardus (Leopard), Mellivora capensis (Ratel/Honey Badger), Bos gaurus (Bison/Gaur), Elephas maximus (Elephant), Canis lupus (Wolf), Felis chaus affinus (Jungle cat), Ratufa indica (Indian giant squirrel), Petaurista Philippensis (Indian great flying squirrel), Canis aures (Jackal), Macaca mulatta (Rhesus macaque), Semnopithecus entellus (Monkey/Langur), Herpestese Dwardsi (GreyMangoose), Viverricula indica (Small India cerivet), Semnopithecus entellus (Mankada (Hanu).
