The existing road plays an important role in both passenger freight movement, transportation of valuable chrome ore from several mining leases operating inside Sukinda valley to different industries of the State and abroad. This road also provides communication facility to the tribal belt of Sukinda valley where more than 60,000 population, in about 25 villages reside. This road project shall not only improve the socio economic condition of the local people but also add maximum mining revenue to the State exchequer directly and indirectly and industrial corporate tax to the Nation as a whole. Moreover, it will decrease the heavy traffic rush caused due to transportation of ore by huge lorry services saving time & preventing frequent accidents.
