IDCO is the facilitator for industrial infrastructure development of the State. It meets the increasing demand of land for Small & Medium entrepreneurs around Bhubaneswar City. The Collector, Khordha has sanctioned lease of 79.394 Ac. of Non Forest Land for establishment of New Industrial Area. The proposed project is a connecting road over a length of 582.99 mtr having width 30 mtr between new & old industrial area of IDCO in Gothapatana Village. Considering all aspects involved in forest diversion Socio economic condition of the locality, keeping in view of industrial growth around Bhubaneswar diversion of 1.82 Ha. of forest land in the book of Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha in village Gothapatana of Bhubaneswar Tahasil of Khordha District u/s 2 ii of Forest Conservation Act, 1980 is recommended for construction of approach road between two industrial unit of IDCO subject to fulfillment of the following condition. The user agency and other concerned agencies need to take proactive measures to prevent light & noise pollution. In order to cause to ensure the same a green belt plantation along both sides of the road would be taken up.
