The applied diversion proposal over 3.869 ha Sabik forest land for establishment of Railway siding in village Jalpaposi in Nayagarh GP under Jhumpura Tahasil of Keonjhar District. The proposed area is unavoidable and the barest minimum for the purposed Railway siding. There is no sign of prevalence of endangered, threatened and vulnerable wild fauna in the said area except movement of wild Elephant often noticed in the fringe areas. The User Agency may be insisted to take up plantation of tall trees of minimum 3 Three Rows all along the boundary of the instant Railway Siding Project. Species ed for this purpose should be of high dust absorbing as well as green foliage. The said proposal is therefore submitted for necessary consideration u/s 2 ii of FC Act, 1980.
