After thoroughly studying the project reports and observations made during site inspection the following points are considered while making recommendation 1. This project is very much necessary to improve the connectivity to Malkangiri. 2. As Malkangiri is affected by Left Wing Extremism and poverty, Railway is highly necessary for overall development of the district. Therefore, I recommend for diversion of forest land 405.343 ha. for Construction of Jeypore Malkangiri New BG Railway line of East Coast Railway coming under Malkangiri District.
