 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : The area applied for diversion does not form part of any Protected Area. Amongst avifauna, the important species are Open Bill Storks, Egrets, Herons and Cormorants etc which are visiting the water bodies and swamps in nearby areas. The other wildlife recorded are Jungle Cat and Monitor Lizards in the above mentioned areas
