The area applied for diversion does not form part of any Protected Area. Amongst avifauna, the important species are Open Bill Storks, Egrets, Herons and Cormorants etc. which are visiting the water bodies and swamps in nearby areas. The Mammals seen are Jungle Cat And Monitor Lizards represent reptilian fauna in nearby areas.

After thoroughly studying the project report and observation made during site inspection the following points are considered for recommendation 01. The project involved 0.3662 Hectare of DLC forest land as recorded as forest as 25.10.1980. 02. The proposed forest area is unavoidable and the barest minimum of the purpose of underground natural gas pipeline along with optical fiber cable. The proposed land use plan for the said areas involved adequate safeguard measures for maintaining ecological stability. 03. The proposed diversion of forest land will not attract displacement of people. 04. The said proposal is therefore submitted for necessary approval under Sec 2 ii of FC Act, 1980 taking the aforesaid fact into consideration.
