The Project involves RF 2.444 ha, PRF 4.913 Ha. & Revenue Forest 7.552 Total 14.909 Ha. 2. The proposed area will boost the socio economic condition of the local people by providing employment opportunities in tribal dominated district of Rayagada. 3. The proposed area is unavoidable and is the barest minimum for the purpose of establishing 3.00 MMTPA Alumina Refinery with 150 MW co generation Power Plant. The proposed land use plan involves adequate safeguards for maintaining ecological stability. 4. The proposed RF, PRF & Revenue Forest land will not attract the displacement of people. 5. The aforesaid proposal is therefore submitted for necessary approval under Section 2 II of the Forest Conservation Act, 1980, taking the aforesaid facts into consideration.
