Previously, land diversions for widening of NH 47 have been approved. The additional requirement of 0.061 hac. is for merger/junction construction and is necessary for safety compliance. Hence, the project is recommended in the larger public interest under the condition that adequate mitigation measures for wildlife are taken up in the area.
