8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Leopard, Cheetal, Sambhar, Chusingha, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild dog, Wolf, Wild pig, hyena, jackal, hara and monkey etc.
 (ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : Yes
  Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : National highway will divide the Sanctuary Habited in two parts Left part of the area has huge water body as Tighra dam. More than 80% of the area will be in the left side of the National Highway and the right side of the area will act. Has a small habited of the Sanctuary Wildlife. Population of this area will probably move to left side for food, water and shelter. Villages in the North and south side of the Highway (Tighra and Barai) are denotified. Aprox. 4 KM area in the length will from under the highway and wild animal will cross this highway for going to the another part of the sanctuary. Left side of the area of Sanctuary will also be the under pressure because of surrounding villages.
 (iii). Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ): Yes
  Details of Protected Area and comments on the impact of Project on the ESZ : National highway is crossing the ESZ of Sanctuary in the North and south side is only 100-100 meters this has very less distance it is mostly the revenue area of crop fields. This will not create any major impact.
 (iv). Whether any national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve, tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc., is located within 1 Km. from boundary of the forest land proposed for diversion : Yes
