The density of the forest cannot be ascertained as the area has already been under violation, and all Forest of Manipur falls under eco class 1, so the area must also be under eco class 1. As the area proposed for diversion is meant for the much needed power supply to the rural masses in the nearby villages. Hence, the proposal for diversion in recommended.
