The area has no reports of the presence of Schedule I species of animals

The road passes through the eco-sensitive zone within 10km radius of the proposed Shirui National Park. However, the impact of the project on the eco-sensitive zone would be minimal as there are existing road which need to be improved by diverting small area.

The road passes through the eco-sensitive zone within 10km radius of the proposed Shirui National Park. Animal corridor is essential at some points as there are reports of animals such as squirrels, wildcat etch crossing the road.
