As the requirement of the area is for the purpose of construction of a Cancer Hospital which is a rare facility in the state and also as the area is identified as Government Khasland by the Court of law, the proposed diversion is, thus, recommended under the following conditions 1. the Trevi Hospital shall not ask for diversion of additional forest area and confine themselves within the boundary of Dag No. 1194 and Dag No. 1184 of Meitei Langol. 2. No earth material should be removed from the area without prior approval from competent authority and payment of necessary royalty.

Considering the need for a dedicated Cancer Hospital for treatment and care of cancer patients of the State which has recorded one of the highest cases of cancer in India suitability of the site with green forest surrounding, free from pollution as being located at about 5 Km away from Imphal city, the proposal for diversion of 0.898 hectare forest land in Comp. No.3 Lamdeng Block, Langol RF for construction of Trevi Private Hospital is recommended. Since, the Agency has started construction of the Hospital in violation of the provisions of FCA, 1980, the following conditions are also recommended in addition to the conditions recommended by the DFO a Payment of penal CA, penal NPV etc as deemed necessary by the authority. b User Agency shall clearly demarcate the area by erecting boundary pillars.
