The proposal is meant for water supply from Riat Tynrah water source to Lawsohtun village area by the PHE Department in order to provide remedy to water shortage problems in this locality. Hence the Proposal is recommended.

Therefore, laying of pipeline needs to be align from the spring source to the destination tank. Hence the proposal is recommended for acceptance.

The proposal pertains to diversion of 0.08 Ha. of forest land for providing additional water supply from Ka Riat Tynrah spring source to Block I, Block II and Biock III, Lawsohtun by alignment for laying of pipeline from the spring source. Perused the views of the Conservator of Forests Territorial , Khasi & Jaintia Hills in Part III wherein it is observed that there are no trees to be felled. Since the project will be of great importance for the general public residing in Block I, Block II and Block III, Lawsohtun for portable drinking water, I therefore, concur to the views of Divisional Forest Officer T and Conservator of Forests T for diversion of the forest land for the aforementioned purpose. Hence, the proposal is recommended.
