The proposal pertains to diversion of 0.11 Ha. of forest land for laying of DI Pipes through Law Syiem Deemed Forest 0.05 ha , Riat Laban Reserve Forest 0.023 ha and Laitkor Protected Forest 0.033 ha for providing water supply to the Air Force Station, Air Command Complex, Laitkor. Perused the views of the Conservator of Forests Territorial , Khasi & Jaintia Hills in Part III wherein it is observed that there are no trees to be felled. Since the project is of great importance to the Air Force Station, I therefore, concur to the views of the Divisional Forest Officer T and the Conservator of Forests T for diversion of the forest land for the aforementioned purpose.
