At Chikhali Tall Mohol Gut no 6 is ESZ. The proposed forest land is not part of Protected area. The proposal of 3.36 ha. forest land is submitted from NHAI. As per letter from Conservator of Forests Wildlife Pune letter no A.Survey.TA.342.10.11, Dt. 17.07.2010 no objection given to NHAI for carriying out road widening between Km. 144.400 to 249.000 on non forest sanctuary area

The violation proposal recommended for acceptance, as the proposed area is barest minimum subject to condition of installition 20 nos. sign boards with information of wildlife area, slow passage for vechile should be provided. Tall avenue plantation along the 1130 Mtr. forest diverted highway length should be provided. It will help in reduction of road kills and public awareness about forest and wildlife.
