Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Leopard (Panthera pardus), Jackal (Canis aureus), Striped Hyaena (Hyaena hyaena), Jungle Cat (Felis chaus), Rusty Spotted Cat (Prionailurus rubiginosus), Indian Grey Mongoose (Herpestes edwardsii), Small Indian Civet (Viverricula indica), Wild Boar (Sus scrofa), Mouse Deer (Moschiola meminna), Spotted Deer (Axis axis), Barking Deer (Muntiacus muntjak), Sambar (Rusa unicolor), Langur (Semnopithecus entellus), Black Naped Hare (Lepus nigricollis), Porcupine (Hystrix indica), etc. with birds like Peafowl (Pavo cristata), Pariah Kite (Milvus migrans), Grey Hornbill (Ocyceros birostris), Purple Heron (Hardea purpurea), Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis), Asian Koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus), Spotted Owl (Strix occidentalis), Common Wood Shrike (Tephrodornis pondicerianus), Red whiskered Bulbul (Pycnonotus jocosus), etc. Insects include numerous butterflies and moths, etc. The reptile species found in this tract are Crocodile (Crocodylus palustris), Common Garden Lizard (Calotes versicolor), Indian Chameleon (Chamaeleo zeylanicus), Monitor Lizard (Varanus bengalensis), Dhaman (Ptyas mucosa), Indian Cobra (Naja naja), Indian Krait (Bungarus caeruleus), Rock Python (Python molurus), etc.
 (ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : No

  Details of Protected Area and comments on the impact of Project on the ESZ : The proposed diversion of forest land is for widening of existing bridge over Dahisar River. The area involved in proposal is on the boundary of Sanjay Gandhi National Park and is part of tourism zone. Therefore, the work of project is less likely to pose any direct threat to sensitivity of the forest area.
 (iv). Whether any national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve, tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc., is located within 1 Km. from boundary of the forest land proposed for diversion : Yes
  Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : As the present proposal involves diversion of unclassed forest land situated on outskirts of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The adjoining forest area is fenced with barbed wire fencing and Dahisar River flows parallel to this fencing, this area is not part of any animal passage or corridor.
