The Project Authority tried to construct the Pacca road on the area which was earlier used by the local villagers to communicate to their households. The offence has been booked against the violators, including the Project Authority. The legal action under the provisions of Indian Forest Act, 1927 is in process.Since there is no involvement of fresh cutting of trees and fresh disturbance to the forest in proposed road, the proposal is recommended for acceptance, subject to deposition of five 5 times Net Present Value NPV of the violated area by the project authority as directions issued in the Part B, Chapter I, Rule 1.21 of the Forest Conservation Rule, 2003 published in March 2019.
