The diversion of minimum forest land is recommended for the following reasons. 1. The road proposed for diversion has been declared as National Highway no. 161A connecting Mudkhed to Bhokar to create good connectivity within Nanded district. 2. This is being widening of existing road having 3.75 to 5.50 meter carriage width to 18.00 to 30.00 Meter ROW. Only minimum forest land is required which is unavoidable. Realignment is proposed in forest area. 3. Widening of road will improve socio economic Status of Mudkhed to Bhokar tq Bhokar of Nanded District. Most of the areas along this project is agriculture belt. Thus this will boost up agriculture growth in this area. 4. After construction of proposed road, to & fro movements of forest department officials vehicles should be exempted from payment of toll fees. 5. As proposal involves minimum forest area of 8.4771 ha, hence recommended for sanction of proposal.
