Land, This area has been Transferred to Forest Department under Patgaon Irrigation project as a compensatory land for Compensatory Aforestation . 3 197 families of Nivale village in Shahuwadi Taluka were to be rehabilitated. Out of which 124 families have been rehabilitated in Wathar area of Hatkanagale Taluka and 73 families have been rehabilitated. At Village Galgale Taluka Kagal, the revenue department had rehabilitated an approximate area of 16 hector. But dispute arose in this area. On that, The writ petition No. 11259/2014 & 11616/2014 was filed in the Hon. High Court of Mumbai. Following the hearing, The Order has been given by Hon. High Court of Mumbai on Dated 16th February 2016 and the village Galgale land has been given to the Concerned Original land owner. Hence, Kolhapur forest Division proposed FCA proposal for these all 73 Khatedar who ed forest land at Kagal, Tahsil Kagal dist. Kolhapur
