This proposal is for construction of underground Petroleum products pipeline with OFC and associated facilities from Mahul Mumbai Suburban District to Rasayani Raigad District is a safe mode of transportation of petroleum product that leads to reduce road congestion, lower energy consumption and is environmental friendly by minimizing gaseous emission in transit. The proposed pipeline is for public utility and for supply of aviation fuel to proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport. This project is recommended as this is an infrastructure development and public utility project. Project proponent is ready to bear all the Government levies hence the proposal is being recommended for approval for diverting the required forest land under Forest Conservation Act, 1980.
