The proposal is recommended for acceptance as the proposed Forest lands 28.297 ha. at village Mhaswad, Valai, Waki, Dhamani, Pimpari, Lodhawade, Gondawale Kh & Godawale Bk, Tal, Maan/ Dahiwadi is used for underground ground 50 mm. to 1600 mm dia. gravity distribution Pipeline for command falling under Maan Canal, proposed on Urmodi Irrigation Project. The distribution network planned underground pipeline with gravity distribution system, considering strong opposition to land acquisition and other benefits like minimizing water losses & ease in construction , operation & maintenance of the system, in accordance with Govt. policy. This project is under Central Govt. scheme “ BALIRAJA JAL SANJIVANI” The design of distribution network is carried out as per current central designs organisation practice based on relevant Indian Standards, Central Water Commission’s guideline and Maharashtra Govt.’s various resolution.
