ShahapurThaneDFO RecommendedThe Project Authority is having their own private land at Village Vasind admeasuring 0.34.4 ha. in Survey No. 196/A/2 which falls in the midst of Protected Forest. All possibilities have been examined by the Project Authority to search alternate land, but except forest land, no other land is found to be suitable for the approach to their land. Violation is done the project authority. The aim of the project is to develop affordable Residential building project to common people. Project land can be utilized for development purpose and various types of employment can be generated, if proper access road to their land is provided. Approach road will also be useful for Forest Department, so also for local villagers. Hence Proposal is recommended subject to deposition of five 5 times Net Present Value NPV by the project authority as directions issued in the Part B, Chapter I, Rule 1.21 of the Forest Conservation Rule, 2003 published in March 2019.
