The Drinking Water Project through Reserved Forest in Paingottoor Grama Panchayath is to provide drinking water for people of Paingottoor Grama Panchayath by constructing a Water Tank and Water Treatment Plant in Kaliyar Range of Kothamangalam Division. The project will enhance the living standars of the poor and BPL families which are of agricultural background suffering due to scarcity of water. Also the proposed scheme will not hamper any wildlife habitat.
