chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is within the 1 km radius of the proposed project area. project proposed to draw 586250 ltr of water from the Koodakad aar and Kammalan Kudi aar which is flowing trough the reserve. these water sources are the important water sources for the wild animals in the Koodakad Proposed reserve, Nachivayal Sandal Reserve I, Nachivayal Sandal Reserve II, Sandal Reserve54, Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary
