This land is an unassigned Vested Forest under the possession of Revenue department(deemed reserve) so no specific prescription is given in working plan. But general forest land and fire protection are applicable to this land.

A proposal has been received by this office from Mr. Veeran Paramban, Vallathodi, Kizhuparamba, Areekode user agency through Divisional Forest Officer, Nilambur North Division for diversion of forest land under Forest Conservation Act, 1980 for the purpose of “Agricultural Eco farm” for an area of 1.1574 Ha.On perusal of records, the reason quoted by the Divisional Forest Officer is highly reasonable and acceptable. Hence, I completely endorse the view of Divisional Forest Officer in the above case and recommend the proposal to be rejected.
