CF
Recommended
No private lands are available for the construction of Mullaperiyar Police station adjacent to the Dam site or near vicinity. More construction is not advisable within the Periyar Tiger Reserve were the Dam is situated. The extent required for the Mullaperiyar Police station in the proposed site is the least minimum required. The impact on environment and ecology due to this small scale construction is very negligible considering the benefits that can be derived from locating the Police station outside the Periyar Tiger Reserve and the Dam site and also the security benefits. Hence the proposal for diversion of 0.2023Ha land is recommended for acceptance
Yes
